EXPERIENCE
It was a very tiring journey since we only
had three days
to visit the most important places in Moscow and that
there were
many hours by plane.
However it was one of the best experiences
.
Moscow is certainly one of the places you
have to visit.
ARRIVE
We leave Mexico City in June 11 from Benito
Juarez International Airport at 8.35 p.m., we do stopover in Charles de Gaulle,
Paris, we arrive in June 13 at 2.20 p.m., and we flew 10 hours 45 minutes. We
stay five hours waiting at the airport for the next connection. We took at 7.30
p.m., the plane from Paris to Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport.
An airport taxi took us to our hotel the
Crown Plaza World Trade Centre, which is located near the river, in front of
many restaurants.
RETURN

We left on June 18 Moscow at 2.05 pm and
arrived to Paris at 17.00 pm, it was 3 hours 55 minutes flight, we waited six
hours in the airport and 23.00 p.m. at the Paris Airport, it was 11 hours 55
minutes flight, and arrived at 3:55 a.m. to Mexico city on June 19.
COMMENTS: We travelled by Air France and it
costs twenty-eight thousand eight hundred pesos, all taxis Moscow include English speaking
driver, and the night in the hotel costs two thousand per night.
DAY 1 (June 15)
We left the hotel to go to breakfast
Coffeemania located in Maly Cherkasskiy Lane, and from there we went to Red
Square, which is open from 10.00 a.m. to 13.00 p.m., admission is free, on
subway line 1 (red) in the Okhothy station Ryad.
Inside the Red Square we entered the
national museum of history that has different objects from different social
classes from the Stone Age, little part of the exhibition is translated into
English, but it also has audio guide in Spanish, from there we went to Saint
Basil's Cathedral, is an Orthodox church, which is famous because it´s
architecture resembles the children's story, and to finish went to the Lenin
museum that is an architectural monument of Soviet times, inside it is
forbidden the use of cameras.
From there we went to eat at DQ coffee,
located opposite the red square, you have a variety of foods in the world, and
prices are acceptable, between one hundred forty five to three hundred thirty
pesos per person.
After lunch we went for an ice cream at
Café Gelateria Plombir, that sells one of the best and different kinds of ice
cream, from there we went to the Botanical Gardens, we travelled until
Vladykino metro station.
We go to the hotel to change our clothes to
go at 7.00 p.m. to the Russian Ballet at Bolshio Theater to see Giselle, which
had a cost of five hundred pesos, it finished at 9.00 p.m and we took a taxi to
the Hotel.
DAY 2 (June 16)
We left the hotel and went to breakfast at
one of the best places in Moscow, Coffee Bean, with fast and personal service
that speaks English.
From there we walked to the art gallery
Tretyakov, which is five minutes from where we ate breakfast, open from 10.00
am to 18.00 pm and admission is free, is the most important gallery of the best
painters of Russia, the historical works illustrate the most important events
and people of Russia, landscapers make you feel different corners of the vast
Russian territory, hence the Novodevichy convent went, which has an important
collection of paintings and works of art.
Then we go on a cruise on the Moscow River
that was one of the most attractive ways of knowing, the trip lasted about 1
hour 45 minutes, and the price was 12 euros.
It started from the Kievsky station to
Novospasski Bridge, we passed by Montes de Sparrow, where we could see
mountains and some of the modern buildings of the city, then spent the spring
Frunzenskaya, with buildings Soviet-style, according to the Gorky Park, the entertainment
center, continuing saw the huge monument to Peter "the Great" and
finally visited the Red October chocolate factory and the Cathedral of Christ
the Savior.
When we arrived after the boat trip we went
to eat to Pinzera Bontempi, which is located next to one of the areas with the
best views of Moscow, great food, highlighting the pizzas, attention, and
princes between two hundred per person.
And then we went to Alexander Gardens, it
consists in three parts, is full of architectural monumets, the principal is
the Kremiln wall.
At the end we went in the Kolomenskoye
subway station to have dinner at Cappucinoff Coffee Shop, with Italian food,
fast service and a price between 125 to 200 pesos per person.
From there we ordered a taxi to go to the
hotel to rest.
DAY 3 (June 17)
We left the hotel and went for the
Belorusskaya subway for breakfast in Verenichnaya which are typical Russian
dishes, prices are 200 pesos per person, then we went to the Moscow Maritime
Aquarium that is a public and located on Chistye Prudy in the city centre, it
is open at 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 pm.
Then we travelled by taxi to the Victory
Park that is a memorial complex dedicated to Russia's victory over Nazi
Germany. It is located in the historic area of Moscow Poklonnaya Hill Known
as, is a solemn architectural ensemble with monuments, obelisks and fountains.
It looks most impressive at night when the water in the fountains is
Illuminated.
In the return we took in the second metro
line to the restaurant Stolovaya where there is a wide variety of foods, eleven euro per
person and is located in front of the
kremlin.
After lunch we went to the Kremlin is the
oldest of the city's historic-architectural center, there to inside went to the
Armery Museum where we met the treasury of the Russian Crown, with many
valuable objects, the museum is very large and surprising have a duration of 1
hour and a half and admission is free. Within the same building is the Diamond Fund, that contains the most
important objects of Russia in terms of value.

Then we had our last dinner in
Festibalnoye, that is in front of the Krelim, it has a cost of 15 euros per
person,
the food was incredible and has a good attention service.
At the end of the day we get back to the
hotel to get ready for the next day.
RETURN
We woke up early so we could go to have
breakfast in the same place as the first day we were in Moscow, Coffeemania that
is located in Maly Cherkasskiy Lane, we took the subway line 1 (red) in the
Okhothy station Ryad.
Then we get back to the hotel to get ready,
so a taxi from the Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport could picked us at 11. 30 a.m.
